Lustreboard® is aluminum wafered over 1/4" or 1/2" plywood, and comes in different colors. It makes for a very strong substrate. While still lighter than regular MDO plywood, it does serve as a sturdy, durable sign background. It can mounted between posts with no worries of sustaining high winds.
