This stone & glass sculpture was created for a wedding gift. The glass is a piece of 3/4" plate (16" x 12") that was custom cut and the edges beveled and polished. The logo and date were sandblasted onto the back side of the glass for added depth. The base is a slab of 2 1/2" polished black granite with the lead edge left rough cut. A groove was routed to accompany the glass, which was glued into place. Now, just make sure that you set it on something solid!
