This sign qualifies for our Gallery Ugli; however, we also wish to award this Denver entrepreneur a Meritorious Achievement Award for using his own lawn as a billboard for his dubious aeration skills. (Note the garden hose off to the lower right.)
     
 

Speed Kill
This lovely "sign" still proudly endures along Denver's busy Speer Boulevard. You have to take our word that it signifies the existence of a speedometer company below (yes, still in business!) We believe this sign was erected when the company was selling speedometers to covered wagons on their way to the Pikes Peak gold boom of 1858.
